ELAP is an acronym for Express Lane Application Programme. It is a web based system that allows you to view and apply for the reservation of factory premises made available by Jurong Town Corporation ("JTC") online via this website. If you meet the basic criteria set out below for the factory premises applied for, you will be given approval for reservation of the premises immediately. The grant of the tenancy, however, shall be subject to JTC being satisfied that you have complied with and fulfilled the necessary conditions for the said grant of the tenancy to the factory premises.

Criteria

1) The entitiy seeking to obtain a tenancy of the factory premises ("the Applicant") must be a company or business registered in Singapore.

2) Business to be undertaken at the factory premises must be related to industrial activities which include manufacturing, production, assembly, servicing, research and development. Non-industrial activities which include commercial office usage, trading, retailing and wholesaling, do not qualify.

3) At least 60% of the floor space must be used directly for industrial activities i.e. manufacturing, assembly, servicing, research & development and ancillary storage. The remaining 40% of the floor space may be used as ancillary office, showroom, neutral areas and communal facilities.

4) The business that the Applicant undertakes is in light and clean industry (you may refer to examples of activities considered light and clean in Annex A).

5) JTC has not served letter of demand or commenced any legal action against the Applicant.
